Great for short getaway and value for money. Hotel and facilities need some upgrading.

Spacious and conveniently located

The room air conditioning was not adjustable. It was very cold. Hotel was a little run down and the pools were closed except for 1.

Short Staycation w Family

The palawan beach is within walking distance. The western dining restaurant service is good. The staff was friendly and approachable. The room have plenty supply of bottle water for me and my family.

The kids pool outdoor is not clean and there's too many mosquito. The room is abit old and table desk light not working.

The hotel does not entice me to stay there again on my next staycation.

the hotel easy to find and convenience, indoor car park lots are available & plenty, we like the seaview balcony so that we can unwind at the balcony.

1)Sky pool's toilet door lock is spoilt but was not fix, i nearly trap myself with the damage lock. 2)The existing 2 numbers of kids floats, 1 is totally flat and the other one we pump air but air leakage fast as well. Seem like maintenance is poor, no incharge personnel taking care of this facility & equipment. I called concierge for help, but i ended wait for more than 15 to 20 minutes, i recalled that time awas about 7pm, it caused me had an unpleasant experienced.

It is a place we would recommend to friends and also return again to stay.

I like the connection to the pool, the outdoor bathtub, the excellent buggy service when requested (raining), excellent customer service by all service staff, breakfast was good too and value for money.

(1)The service for breakfast was pretty slow-moving (to order) - it is probably better if there is an e-menu we can order from which sends straight to the kitchen, or you could have a manual/paper order form. (2)Housekeeping-wise, we didnt have toiletries replenished, would have been good to have another set of supplies for another day. We only have one set which was from day 1 - we stayed 2 nights. (3)there is no cement/structured pathway from main building to our unit, so when it was rainy, we had to walk on soggy grass patch. On top of that, at night, wooden? stairway down to the terrace units were also dark and unlit. It rained most of the time while we were there so it wasnt a good combination: to walk on soggy grass and find our way back in the dark..unless you have your phone with you (but that cannot be the expectation or the assumption that we would definately have a mobile phone with us). Apart from these, it has been a lovely restful stay and regretted we couldnt stay for a few more days.

The room with direct access pool are great. Big and comfy room in a splendidly restored heritage building, surrounded by ample well manicured greenery. Truly a staycation that makes you feel you're no longer in Singapore.

It's quite hard to get through when you call them. I had to make 10 or more calls before getting through. Which is so rare when calling any hotel. Call service was bad too, after I complain about no one picking up my calls, there wasn't any apology offer, which is kinda strange for a hotel at this price point. But to be fair, once you get there the service staff are much more prompt in person.

Great getaway from the city!

Got a complimentary upgrade to the couple suite as it was my partners birthday. Check in took a little longer than usual but still within reasonable time.

Requested for a wine opener and the front desk’s reply was that they had given it all out to guests and couldn’t provide any alternative solutions.

Very Good

The place was well-maintained even for though its in operation for many years. The staff service are very friendly, sincere and exceptional, they really made us feel very welcomed!

The air conditioning took quite a while to cool the room down. Would be good if they can consider some upgrading in the future.

Nice big room. Great property grounds.

Was disappointed that alhough I informed the staff it was a special occasion, they allocated us one of the only courtyard villas with no windows! It was also located next to the cleaners area where people were working loudly.

The building and furnitures are old as compared from what I have seen from the website. From the website, the bedroom setting looks romantic but it is different from what we actually seen.
